Foundation Supporters
Founder and CEO
Dr. Carreño founded the FEHV in 1991. He is currently chair of the Foundation for Biomedical Research (FIB) and Foundation for the Study of Viral Hepatitis (FEHV). In his tenure as chair of the FEHV, he has promoted and developed several projects to advance medical diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to liver and kidney. On the other hand, is considered the best hepatologist in Spain and one of the best in Europe.
Supporter and owner
Laura Carreño is supporter of the Foundation since 2007. She trained as a psychologist in Madrid, finishing her studies in August 2010. In addition, she also runs educational psychology and teaching. Since then she has worked on European projects and other organizations in the area of Human Resources. She is currently in Los Angeles, United States, doing a Master of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and works with the foundation in organizational development projects of the FEHV.
Supporter and owner
Rafael is a supporter since 1991, when FEHV was founded. He trained as a Civil Engineer, Canal and Port Engineer and Geographer. He is currently Regional Chief Surveyor of the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Transport of the Community of Madrid since 1988 and professor at two universities. He has made numerous presentations and publications, and numerous urban planning, transport and planning. Rafael participates in the foundation as an expert adviser on construction projects and renovation of structures that are part of the foundation.
JULIAN GOMEZ DELGADO: A SUPPORTIVE TRUSTEE
The Foundation for the Study of Viral Hepatitis has delivered an Honorary Patron Plate to the Toledo businessman Mr. Julián Gómez Delgado, a man noted for his strong support for the work of the team led by Dr. Vicente Carreño. Discreet, working tirelessly and with great social conscience, Mr. Julián Gómez quietly supports one of the most important activities for human beings: to investigate the health service. He is a healthy, solidary businessman: a wonderful example.
